each month who are coming to Papertrix to bring their wonderful talents to our town
so that you may take classes in cardmaking, scrapbooking and altered art  and new papercrafts..Look to our website to keep posted!   

Due to holiday schedule confilicts, we have decided to postpone this class until late spring:
Cindy will be teaching her famous Altered Book class .Each student  will be able to select a stunning and  unique collage/ephermera  image packet from Mary Mata. We will also introduce you to the newest Faber Castell gelatos, the Viva Decor pearl/rhinestone pens and more, more, more.    Yes, I have learned from the best--Mary Jo McGraw, Beth Cote, Tim Holtz, Jacqueline Sullivan!
 I will share my most valuable secrets of creating these artsy and addicting books.  Unique techniques will be taught and
you will surely enjoy this class if you are a beginner or even seasoned artist.  Cost will be $49 for one all day session. 10-4 Students will need to bring to class--exacto knife, metal ruler, glue sticks, various adhesives, straight edge cutter, brushes not of good quality, and any types of images and papers you may want to use in your book.  One 1 1/2" or more thick hard bound book at least 5 by 7 should be selected for your book.  Kit provided by store will be Mary Mata collage kit of collage images, papers for collage, Golden gel medium,
use of all embellishments like Viva Decor pens, Faber Castell gelatos, and pastel crayons, and so much more.  This will be a bit of a messy class so don't wear good clothes.  You may decide your theme before the class or select a theme from the Mary Mata materials.
